S. Waziristan Youth Representing Pakistan Team In T-20 Blind Cricket World Cup


NEW DELHI(Rizwan Mehsud) 30 January: A youth from South Waziristan Agency (SWA) Matiullah Mehsud is representing Pakistan team during the T-20 Blind Cricket World Cup to start today in New Delhi, India.
Matiullah Mehsud is a resident of Tiarza tehsil of South Waziristan. He migrated to Lahore due to military operation ‘Rah-e-Nijat’ against militants in South Waziristan. His uncle Gulbaddin told that Matiullah has faced severe difficulties during the displacement period however he did not loose courage and continued his practice. “Now Matiullah Mehsud is going to represent Pakistan team in Blind T-20 World Cup” Gulbaddin added.
The Twenty-20 Blind cricket World Cup will start from today in New Delhi, India.
A 17-member Pakistan blind cricket team has gone to India to participate in the mega event which will continue until Febrarury 12.
On the opening day of World Cup, India will face Bangladesh and Pakistan will take on New Zealand in Delhi.
